
Prospekt Mira is a 501(c)3 non-profit NGO, established in 2009. Prospekt Mira's organisational expertise lies at the nexus of quantitative research and social issues, and is informed by the organisation's origins in service of the Measurement and Human Rights program at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. Prospekt Mira has served as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme [UNDP] on the Adaptation Learning Mechanism [ALM], an inter-agency knowledge management platform. Prospekt Mira has performed statistical analyses for the ALM Knowledge Needs Survey Report, and produced a promotional/informational video for the Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change Project (PACC) in Vanuatu.
With the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) acting as the Executing Agency and UNDP as the implementing Agency, PACC is working in 14 Pacific Island countries to reduce vulnerability and increase resilience to the adverse effects of climate change. Prospekt Mira has also facilitated an internship in Tonga looking at water resource management issues.
